Candidates Forum

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County, in partnership with the Sugar Grove Public Library and the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a hybrid forum on February 24, 2025,beginning at 6:00 pm at Waubonsee Community College, Rt 47 at Waubonsee Drive, Sugar Grove, IL.

Candidates on the ballot for the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election who are in contested races for the offices of Sugar Grove Fire Protection District, Waubonsee Community College Trustee, Kaneland School District 302 Board, Village of Sugar Grove Trustee and Village of Sugar Grove President have been invited. The forum for the contested races will be held in person with an audience and also live streamed by BATV.

The League of Women Voters follows FEC guidelines and no political paraphernalia, buttons, hats, shirts may be worn by anyone within the forum in that such is considered electioneering and is strictly prohibited.

Seating is first come first served.
