The Sugar Grove Chamber recently welcomed the addition of a Women’s League and it is open to all members of the chamber. The purpose of the Sugar Grove Chamber Women’s League is to Celebrate the advancement of women, Create networking opportunities through professional, social and service events and Motivate women to achieve their highest potential.

They select one community service project each month to provide support as needed for the project. Recent community activities they supported included: participating in belling ringing for the Salvation Army Kettles; assisting activities for the Sugar Grove Golf Outing; assisting the Sugar Grove Between Friends Food Pantry. The Women’s League has plans to help the Kaneland Arts Initiative Fine Arts Festival, NCAA Golf Tournament at Rich Harvest Farms and the Sugar Grove Corn Boil —just to name a few.

Members of the Women’s League meet the first Friday of each month to network and discuss upcoming projects. They are held at the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District Building at 8:30am with the meetings lasting about one hour.

All interested women are invited to attend the planning meetings to help organize meeting dates, times and activities for the next year.
