October 20, 2017 – Producers Chemical Company announced today that Jeff Szklarek, Chief Operating Officer has been named President, effective November 1.

“I am pleased and excited to move Jeff into this new role. Jeff has been with us since July, 2008 and has been key to our growth since that time,” said Roger Harris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Jeff was responsible for managing the company’s 2012 move to a much larger, more productive facility in Sugar Grove, Ill. after 45 years in Batavia, Ill. More recently, Jeff managed the design, procurement and build of our tank farm which became operational in the fall of 2016. Jeff’s background, education and experience will help guide our growth into the future.”

Jeff has become very involved in the chemical distribution industry serving as a member of the Membership Committee of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), completing the first class of Emerging Leaders for NACD and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chemical Distribution Network. He is also active locally with the Valley Industrial Association.

Prior to joining Producers Chemical, Jeff worked in accounting for Zimmer Corporation in Indiana, Cardinal Health, and Deloitte and Touche, LLC. Jeff is a native of South Bend, Ind. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, a master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Minnesota, and he is a certified public accountant. Jeff is married and has three children
