After 16 years of serving the community, the team at American Heartland Bank & Trust decided it was time to make some changes to reflect who we really are in this community.  It began on December 21, 2015 when we moved into a new building in the heart of Sugar Grove.  If you haven’t visited us at 670 N. Sugar Grove Parkway (on the corner of RT 47 and Wheeler/Bliss Roads), we would welcome you to stop by and take a look at our new home. The building was crafted with many unique features including our antique vault door.  This door was salvaged from an old bank in Kansas City, MO and weighs about 10,000 pounds. The restoration including disassembly, refinishing, reassembly, refitting of all parts took over 118 hours.

On April 1, 2016, American Heartland Bank & Trust will officially change its name to First Secure Community Bank.  The new name signifies our dedication and commitment to the community we serve.

The bank has not been sold or merged. It will continue to have the same management, employees, board and ownership.   This is a change in the name only.
