Friday evening, July 29, 2016, as a part of the Sugar Grove Corn Boil opening ceremony, Sally McClellan, Chamber President announced the awarding of the 2016 Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry Scholarships.  Family, neighbors, and friends, joined Sally and chamber representatives for the presentation in front of the main stage.

Dean Divizio and Hannah Morris each received a $500.00 Scholarship for a Graduating Female or Male High School Senior. This fall, Dean will attend Waubonsee Community College and Hannah will attend Salem State University.  The recipients were selected because of their understanding of the vital importance of community service as well as statements on their High School academic status, extra-curricular activities, and community service or community involvement.  The Chamber offers these scholarships in an effort to recognize and support home grown potential.
