Please nominate a business for each community award to be presented at the Annual Dinner. Nominations are due to the Chamber office by January 4.
The categories are:
Press Release Award
To recognize efforts to keep the Chamber informed about your business.
In the Groove Award
To recognize efforts in support of the community and to promote Chamber Membership.
Looking So Good Award
To recognize efforts to keep your business location looking good.
Chamber Spirit Award
To recognize efforts to foster a community in support of local business.
Newcomer Award
To recognize a first year member for their efforts to embrace the Sugar Grove Chamber.

Award Winners from Previous Years
2008 Presentations:
Community Awards were presented recognizing Chamber members for special contributions made in 2007. The Press Release Award was presented to the Sugar Grove Public Library District/Sugar Grove Library Friends to recognize efforts to keep the Chamber and community informed about their business.
The In-the-Groove Award was presented to Lisa Cavalier H&R Block Financial Advisors to recognize efforts in support of the community and to promote Chamber membership. The Looking-So-Good Award was presented to The Catering Gourmets to recognize efforts to keep their business location looking good. The Chamber Spirit Award was presented to Castle Bank and Engineering Enterprises, Inc. to recognize efforts to foster a community in support of local business. The Newcomer Award was presented to BMC Insurance Agency, Inc. and Tasha Lee Design to recognize a first year member for their efforts to embrace the Sugar Grove Chamber.
Appreciation Awards were presented to Past President David Burroughs, Engineering Enterprises, Inc., 2006 – 2007; Board Member James F. White, Law Office of James F. White, 2002 – 2007; Board Member Kevin Geary, Morken & Associates, 2001 – 2007 and Angie Ford of Engineering Enterprises, 2006 – 2007.
The Chamber thanked The Office Works, Inc. and Hill’s Country Store for door prize donations. A very special thank you to the following 2008 Annual Dinner sponsors, Castle Bank, Engineering Enterprises, Inc., Oak Trust Credit Union, Provena Mercy Medical Center, Village of Sugar Grove, Volkman Insurance Agency, Inc., and Waubonsee Community College.
